Last week we headed out to Muse Social Fashion House at Morgan Crossing to have a fall style shoot with them! Our goal was to find some cute outfits that can be worn as a guest to some upcoming fall weddings! Sometimes it's not as easy as those summer weddings. So we contacted Muse to look into it a bit deeper. What's in this fall? And how can we look cute while we're at it? We were so happy with what we found!
For those semi-formal weddings, Joryli chose this cute navy dress. She loves it when a dress hits her around the waist and goes into an A-line. She chose a long necklace to pair with this dress to work with the higher neck line. It paired so nicely together! She threw in a nude coloured clutch, with some black heels and her outfit was done. Throw in a black or nude wool jacket on there, and her outfit is fall ready!
Elizabeth (Manager of Muse) picked out this bright pink dress for me to try on. Bright colours are not what I am naturally attracted to, BUT after putting on a black statement necklace with a pair of simple black heels to tone it down I felt comfortable and ready to go! A nice reminder to always test new waters, you might just surprise yourself! Also, if you're tight on time, throw on a top knot, and you're good on your way!
Muse had lots of cute necklaces and shoes for us to browse around and try with different outfits. Joryli and I (Raelene) are both huge fans of statement necklaces so we were beyond happy with having so many to choose from! I love a store that I can get an entire outfit in one visit :)
For our next dress, we are both in the same style, Joryli is in purple and I am in my favourite colour (black)! Joryli made the dress semi-formal by wearing a long gold necklace, with a pair of black flats, and a large purse to add more of a casual tone to the style. I dressed it up a bit with leopard print heels and a pink statement necklace (I really do love them!)
If you're trying to look for a few different ways to keep off the brisk air (or in Vancouver more likely the rain!) A blazer or an open front jacket, a thick scarf and a pair of booties can help keep you warm and trendy this fall.
The last dress was my favourite! It was more of a formal piece. This gorgeous black dress had a small train at the back and it was definitely my favourite dress! All this dress needed to make it complete was a long and delicate one piece crystal necklace. I paired it with black heels and it was complete. I felt red carpet (wedding) ready and it was so simple to do!
Huge thanks to Muse Social Fashion House for being so welcoming and hospitable to us! We had so much fun shopping around and styling a few perfect wedding outfits.
Let us know what you're go-to fall outfit is! How do you stay warm and classy on a chilly/rainy day?
