Emergency Kits // Matron Of Honour Duties

Tomorrow (eeek) I get the privilege of standing beside my best friend as her MOH (Matron of Honour)! We have known each other since we were 12 years old and it is so exciting to be a part of her journey. It's so great to be able to help support her and to also help her plan her wedding to make it the best it can be!

As a MOH there are lots of responsibilities such as; the events, (engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette) helping her make decisions and to be there for her no matter what she needs! The responsibilities don’t end after you sign those papers though, they carry on throughout the evening.

One of the things I love is being prepared! I love having a quick fix solution to any problem. So I went shopping to create a little ‘day of’ emergency kit for those just in casers! I seriously hope we have no need for my little kit, but I feel it is my duty to be well prepared. This is also really handy because even if the bride doesn't need it, there's always a groomsmen, a bridesmaid or parent that is in need of something!

In my list of items I also found a small “emergency kit” that has a sewing kit, some advil, bobby pins, tide-to-go, mints, etc.. I also got some hair spray, deodorant wipes (no need for any residue), a hair brush and a simple lipstick shade if we're in need for any touch ups. I will also be sending a mini lint roller with the best man just in case the boys are in need of some quick lint removal!

The nice part was that these were all so easy to get, just pop into your local drug store and go into the travel section and you have a bunch of mini things to choose from!

And just like that you have your emergency kit! I hope this helps any other MOH’s out there!

Happy Friday!
